Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the current iteration of EuroLeague men’s basketball, this year’s Crown Royale set pays tribute to the league’s past and present.
Professional men’s basketball has existed in Europe since 1958, but the league reorganized in 2000 and rebranded as the EuroLeague. Since then, top players like Vassilis Spanoulis, Dimitris Diamantidis, Juan Carlos Navarro, Mike James, Dejan Bodiroga, Sergio Llull, Nando De Colo, Vasilije Micic, and Luka Dončić have thrilled fans, and they are all included in this year’s Crown Royale set.
Those 100 base cards also have four parallels: Crystal Red (/49), Crystal Purple (/25), Crystal Gold (/10), and Crystal Platinum (/1).
Almost every insert card in Crown Royale is numbered.
A new 25th Anniversary insert set commemorates the history of the league, while Hand Crafted, Pillars of the Game, Sno Globe, and Test of Time return. Each card in these sets is /99 and has Red (/49), Purple (/25), Gold (/10), and Platinum (/1) parallels.
