2013 Spring Expo – Upper Deck Priority Signings

Upper Deck’s Priority Signing wrapper redemption program is back at Spring Expo 2013 where fans in Toronto who purchase a hobby box of 2012-13 NHL Artifacts, 2012-13 NHL Upper Deck Series One, 2012-13 NHL Black Diamond or mini box of 2012-13 NHL Fleer Retro from a Certified Diamond Dealer at the show will receive a voucher. They can bring that voucher to the Upper Deck booth at specified times where they can exchange it, along with the wrappers from the box for a random 2013 NHL Priority Signings Autograph card for FREE! And for the first time ever, all the cards in the Priority Signings set will be limited to just 35 copies or less!

To help begin celebrating the exciting Double Rookie Class coming to Upper Deck NHL products next season, we are double dipping to make the Priority Signings program even more exciting by including instant redemption cards in the Priority Signings packs good for signed Upper Deck Authenticated memorabilia of rookie players who will appear in 2013-14 NHL products. Fans can score autographed pucks and draft hats from “Young Guns” like Charlie Coyle, Jaden Schwartz, Ryan Murphy, Jarred Tinordi, Jamie Oleksiak, Tyson Barrie, Scott Laughton, Quinton Howden and Beau Bennett.

In The Game’s Spring 2013 Expo Announcement

In The Game is pleased to announce some of our plans for the 2013 Spring Expo to be held May 3-5 in Toronto at the International Centre.

We never miss participating at the Expo, it is our chance to meet many of our loyal collectors and reward them for their loyalty through our Redemption Programs. I hope one day all ITG collectors will have a chance to participate in one of our Redemption Programs. The following are the three Redemption Programs at the 2013 Spring Expo.

Ultimate Memorabilia 12th Edition Redemption

 

Each collector opening a pack of UM-12 will receive an Ultimate Legacy card featuring three pieces of game-used memorabilia. That’s right if you open a five-pack box of UM-12 you will receive 5 Triple Memorabilia Cards unique to the 2013 Spring Expo. The entire checklist of Ultimate Legacy Redemption Cards will be posted prior to the Spring Expo.

2012-13 Between The Pipes Edition

 

Open a box of the newly released 2012-13 Between The Pipes at the Spring Expo and receive a specially made Masked Men Redemption Card limited to either 10 or 20 cards. These unique game-used memorabilia cards feature authentic memorabilia from a list of collector-favorite Masked Men. The entire checklist of Masked Men Redemption Cards will be posted prior to the Spring Expo.

Priority Signatures

2013 Spring Expo will feature the Inaugural Edition of In The Game’s Priority Signatures.

Open a box of 2012-13 Heroes and Prospects and receive a Heroes and Prospects Priority Signature Autograph Card. The Priority Signature Autograph Cards feature many of the great Autograph cards featured in Heroes and Prospects since its inception. Each card is limited to a maximum of five cards and many are limited to just one copy.

Game-Used Memorabilia Display

Each Expo In The GameLand features a stunning game-used memorabilia display. Past Expo have featured my All-Star Jersey display, my vintage Toronto Maple Leafs display and my Enshrined Hall of Fame display.

For the 2013 Spring Expo, I am teaming up with the CHL to present a memorable display of CHL jerseys worn by some of today’s greatest young stars. Taylor Hall-Windsor, Steven Stamkos-Sarnia, Dustin Brown-Guelph, John Tavares-Oshawa and many more.

In The GameLand is the place to be during the 2013 Spring Expo with many more attractions to be announced prior to the event including, Deal or No Deal sponsored by Prince Wholesale.

Sunday Fun-Day Fun Facts

Earlier this week, Topps celebrated the launch of 2013 Topps Baseball Series 1 and the start of Spring Training with the World’s Largest Baseball Card.

 

 

Near the Detroit Tigers’ spring training home in Lakeland, Florida, Topps unveiled the massive, 5000-plus square foot image of Prince Fielder spanning a large section of a youth baseball outfield.

Product Preview – In The Game’s Motown Madness

February 28, 2013 will mark the release date of In The Game’s tribute to the Detroit Red Wing Franchise – Motown Madness.

In each box of Motown Madness collectors will find 5 Premium Base Cards, 4 Autograph Cards, 2 Authentic Game-Used Memorabilia Cards and a Patch of Honor Insert Card. That’s right 12 cards per box and seven of them are “hits”.

The Base Card Set will feature players from nine decades, the entire history of the franchise. These Premium Base Cards will be manufactured in both a red foil version and a gold foil version.

The Autograph Card checklist will feature over 100 different players including; Gordie Howe, Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom. Chris Osgood, Norm Ullman, Ted Lindsay, Dominik Hasek, Ed Giacomin, Danny Gare, Marcel Pronovost, Darren McCarty and many more. Motown Madness features four autographs per box.

Each box of Motown Madness will contain one Patch of Honor card. These are manufactured patches from different milestones in the franchise’s history including; Vladdy Patch, Norris Family Patch, Stanley Cup Playoff Patches, War Bonds Patch, and others.

Motown Madness features fourteen different Authentic Game-Used Memorabilia insert sets.

Motown Madness will feature a stunning collection of PaperCuts. The 40+ card checklist will include: Jack Adams, Harry Lumley, Hec Kilrea, Tommy Ivan, Syd Howe, Ebbie Goodfellow, Gary Bergman, Larry Aurie, Terry Sawchuk, Tiny Thompson, “Black” Jack Stewart, Bruce Norris, Johnny Mowers, Carl Liscombe and Harold Jackson to name a few.

Each box of Motown Madness will contain 12 cards. 4 Autograph Cards, 1 Patch of Honor Card, 5 Premium Base Cards, and 2 Authentic Memorabilia Cards.

2013 National Hockey Card Day in Canada

Not all collectors are lucky enough to have a local card store nearby. But if you do…

Upper Deck is pulling out all the stops to make Saturday, February 9, 2013 a day to remember for every hockey card fan in Canada.

 

 

All puck fans need to do is head out on Saturday, February 9th and visit participating local card store retailers to receive a free National Hockey Card Day pack.

Packs will yield five randomly assorted cards featuring the various, while a special limited 16th card featuring Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux from the 1987 Canada Cup can be had as a gift with purchase from shop owners while supplies last. Some lucky collectors may also find some other special surprises in National Hockey Card Day packs like rare autograph cards.
